Banffy Haus German Shepherds
WELCOME TO OUR NEW BEAUTIFUL KENNEL HOME IN THE COUNTRY IN OSTRANDER OHIO!!
Pictured above is the first of our kennels built on our new property. The dog runs have a 5 x 5 inside home and a 10 x 5 outside run for each dog. The inside run has a shock absorbent rubber mat and their favorite toys. The outside runs use the finest powder coated kennels available and are floored by about 5 to 10 inches of stone topped by horse stall mats with aeration holes, which is again topped by limestone. This way feces and urine are kept away from the dogs and is easily leeched into the soil. You will not smell feces and urine as a predominant odor in our kennels.
The inside has lights, heater, and music playing for our friends. They are only fed the best, drink out of stainless buckets, romp in and out as they please, and are given oodles of love.
For our pregnant ladies we have a hand made pine whelping box with a pig rail and pups are whelped on rubber mats. Our pups get the special treatment from my kids. Pictured below is my 8 year old Aniko with our protection trained, schutzhund 1 dog from the Pallas Athene kennels in Germany. Now that's temperament. Also, see how happy our lady is.
However, the fact is, regardless of how nice the kennels, our German shepherd dogs spend much of the time with us, while we work outside, running and playing, and just loving.
