 1.PET INSURANCE? Pet insurance is a good idea for your dog. I have used Veterinary Pet Insurance as the carrier in the past, but as of late have had poor experience with their customer service. However, many many companies, including the AKC offer pet insurance. I carry it on all of my dogs. It is very reasonable and gives you the peace of mind knowing you will be able to afford the care your pet needs. I don't get any money for this, but really encourage you to consider it. I have heard of too many people who either get saddled with huge bills or have had to consider not treating their dog because of the expense!:
