Our Beautiful Viernheimi Otti
The top picture is the German import Leon vom Fiermereck, "V1" (highest rated at trial), "V2" at the Universal Sieger 2002, SchH3, KKL1a, "a" normal hips dog. He is a "VA Esko vom Dänischen Hof son that we bred June 27th to our Otti (right). Some thought Esko would take the German Sieger World Championship title this year. Esko is incredible.
Leon was breed surveyed and schutzhund titled by 2 years of age. He is still quite young and will surely go VA soon, which will quickly raise the price of his progeny!!! He is a big boy (currently 95 pounds and at the top of the breed standard in height). His structure is incredible, almost perfect. He is used to improve structure in matings. He also has great pigment. Additionally, he is a proven stud with his first two litters throwing top notch results. Sira, a Leon daughter just went SG1 at the Universal Sieger championship beating out the dogs from big, expensive breeders. Another of his daughters went VP1. You can inspect his pedigree at Leon's pedigree. You can visit his progeny at Leon's data.
He has been bred with our Viernheimi Otti, SG1 (first in Jungenklasse where she was number one bitch and attained the highest score possible), KKl1, "A" stamped, SchH1 (VK1) deep red and black "VA" Viernheimi Nick daughter. You can see pics of her and pedigree on the link for "Our Dogs" above or click here: Otti's Pictures and Pedigree. Call for prices.
Here is my analysis and why I chose him to mate with Otti:
a. Just look at the pictures and the structural/conformation similarities!!!
b. Otti is a VA Nick son, a dog used to put red pigment into lines. So Otti brings red pigment and coat, while Leon brings almost perfect structure to the table. Great synergy!!!
c. They also strengthen eachothers structure. Leon has better front angles. And although Leon is almost perfect structurally, Otti brings superior rear angulation to the table.
d. The pedigree similarities are almost dizzying. Otti is linebred 4,5,5-5,3 with Uran vom Wildsteiger Land, Leon 5-5,3 also on Uran.
e. Leon is line bred 5,5-3 on Mark vom Hausbeck while Otti also sports this dog in her pedigree.
f. Both Otti and Leon BOTH also have prominent places for Kimon Von Dan Alhedy's Hoeve, Marit vom Wildsteiger Land, and Karly von Arminius in both of their pedigrees.
g. Leon was just bred to a similar structured and pigmented bitch to Otti and came out with incredible puppies.
h. Both Leon and Otti have dynamite temperaments and awesome drives. Otti is "ball crazy". But when not playing she is affectionate and wonderful with my children (5 and 12 years old).
So they compliment eachother in structure and pigment and will further line breeding on some outstanding dogs. Also, Leon is a top producer with a father who may go Sieger champion in the near future. And both have dynamite drives and temperament. And both have "VA" fathers!!! How can we go wrong with such a complimentary linebreeding of such superior pedigrees? This is truly exciting.
The owner of Leon is as excited as I am and likes the breeding potential so much he has asked for one of the litter for himself.
Below is a picture of Esko (left), Leon's VA father, and Nick, Otti's VA father(right). Below that in the center is a good picture of Nick's head. What pigment and what a great head!

The litter was quite uniform red and black in terms of markings. They all underwent my personal developmental program which I have termed the "Dr. Banffy Method".
Here is just part of the Dr. Banffy Method:
1. A journal record was kept on each puppy for the 8 weeks, recording behavioral characteristics, dominance vs. submissiveness, scores on tests such as isolation, elevation, handling.
2. Children and adults handled the puppies constantly, deep massaging, holding up, letting them smell their odor
3. They were put through the Volhard Puppy Test to gauge personality so that they could be more accurately placed in families
4. They were all exposed to the crate to prepare them for their new families.
5. They were all exposed to new environments, temperatures, ground textures
6. They were exposed to loud sounds, household appliances, loud buzzers, wood blocks, pans, etc.
7. All day they listened to classical music at varying degrees of volume, sometimes loud, other times soft.
These puppies were amazing. The entire litter would fight eachother to run to people. Reports from owners said they were simple to potty train, extremely people oriented, stable, courageous, intelligent. Many said they cried little, if at all the first night in the crate. All were all very, very social, none shy, no sound sensivity, very intelligent and extremely people oriented.
