I wanted to write and thank you bringing Jeck into our family. Due to our less than average experience with a local breeder we were a bit apprehensive about getting an "older" dog (even though we knew that was what our family needed). We picked up Jeck at the airport yesterday and HE IS PERFECT! Beauty, brains and drive to please his new owners wrapped into the perfect package. Even though everything he endured during his frightful flight from Frankfurt to the US and then immediately getting a bath - his temperament did not once waiver. Once we returned home, he met all the other members of our family (puppy GSD Raleigh, our two Ragdoll 'girls', and our African Grey parrot). He took our lead - knowing that the other animals in the house were his new friends and most importantly not to harm them. Hey, he was and still is super curious about the cats but already knows better than to chase them! Thank you a MILLION TIMES OVER for coming though for us. Your honestly and care though the entire process helped ease our anxiety and we now know that there is no other dog for us...Jeck is wonderful, more than anyone could ever ask for. Thank you for taking the time to hear us out, learn what we wanted in a new family member, and most importantly your honestly though the process. We will keep you up to date on Jeck. We plan on getting his "BH" immediately and then move him steadily through his SH1 - SH3. Located in North Carolina
Dr. Banfe, Well to say the least the night didn't go as planned. We got to the airport around 6:20pm and the plane was to arrive at 7:09pm. Just our luck the flight was cancelled. So the lady at the desk sent us to the cargo area for more details. When arriving at the cargo area the lady said there would be three more flights from Atlanta 9:30, 10:30 and 11:30pm. You guest it!! She arrived at the cargo area around 12:00am. Well enough of that when I brought the puppy out of the cargo area you would have thought it was Christmas all over again. The kids (and mommy) were very excited.....she is beautiful and healthy. The vet was very impressed today and every thing checked out fine. Hope you enjoy the pictures because we are enjoying MACY!!!!!

Peter, just wanted to let you know our dog Blue is doing great! You got her for me last summer and she is growing like a weed. She is about 60 pounds now at 10 months old. Her pigment is awesome and she is the kindest puppy I've ever met. She won't let you touch her without licking you. I sent a picture of her from my cell phone, I realize it isn't that good but it's the best I can do for now. She is able to "Platz" and "Sitz" very well and she heels very well also. Her and I work on it a lot and I can see her enjoyment when she is tasked with completing a command. It is as if she enjoys paying attention, like it's a game to her. I am hoping to get involved with Schutzhund once I have more time. Thanks again for getting her for us, she is truly a family member.
Peter, Hello! I wanted to tell you a story about Atlas. First I will let you know that Atlas & Ami are doing wonderful! Atlas has started waking me up 5 minutes before the alarm goes off. I just find this very interesting! After the first week he started doing this. It is like he has a built in alarm clock. He is wonderful through the night. He does not get up and move around during the night. I just can’t get over how he can wake me up every morning. That was it. I just thought you might find it amusing. I know he has impressed me. He is a wonderful family member! Again, we thank you for him.
Thank you so much for our new puppy! Hes really fun and energetic, he really fits in to our family. He ate really well tonight and is now sleeping in his crate. He is so much more than we expected.

As I indicated to you on the telephone I have spent a considerable amount of time researching breeders of quality German Shepherd Dogs with a 5-6 hour drive. Having done so I have concluded that you offer exactly what we have been looking for. Your ethics, quality of dogs you breed, concern for the proper placement and a willingness to help educate us so that we can become the best possible owners that this puppy deserves is invaluable. Also, the fact that you do this for the love of the breed as opposed to earning a living means a lot not to mention the pricing structure. Pricing them so that they are affordable to the average family is another indicator of your character. From the research I've done so far it is obvious that you could charge considerably more for dogs of this quality.

Peter, Greetings ! Abbey is doing well. The biting has all but gone away. She is housebroken and obeys simple command such as sit, down, shake and "outside." She goes to the door and puts her paw up when she needs to go out ! She has become a dear family member that displays unconditional loyalty and courage. No one comes around that she doesn't greet and check out. ( Very good with children.) She seems to have made the super bond with my wife. Abbey follows Melanie around and hangs on her every word. I'm still out numbered !

The pup has come home. What a beautiful little girl. My Golden has taken to her quite well and my children are having a wonderful time. She is very affectionate and has been very playful since we brought her home. We have named her Lexi. I have attached a picture of her taken this morning.

What a baby!!! She is just great. I think I have decided on the name Hannah. If only I can just convince everyone else. So far everything is wonderful. I took my son's girlfriend to the airport this morning. She is going to Cheyenne to visit him for a week and said she would like to have one of these dogs. I told her I can fix her up with the person to get her one. Is it ok if I pass out your email addresses to potential buyers?

Pete, Above are some pictures taken today of BLITZ. I want to thank you so much for everything and he is everything we expected. Very well trained for his age and just keeps learning more everyday. This is a true champion litter you have recommended. If you could send me some of the pictures of the Sire and Bitch that would be great. I am trying to start a photo album and like to get all the relatives up to date. Overall i am pleased and not one complaint at all.

Thanks so much. She is amazing. One of the vet tech assis saw her and literally couldn't stop staring at her the whole time. Kelly, who is the vet teck say " This is a German Shepard, This is what they are meant to be. The vet and his wife are also smitten. She is now totally my daughters best friend.

Thank you so much for taking the time to see Koby yesterday and talk with us. I worked with Koby this morning as soon as I got up (mom and dad were up before me and let him out and fed him). It was great! He wasn't as mouthy this morning after we worked and he was overall much more calm. thank you thank you thank you! Koby truly is a little blessing in my life :)

Hi Peter:
Hope all is well with you - we are doing great with the "little guy". He is such a joy, although he can be very trying at times. But, he is just being a GSD puppy! He is so smart, curious and definitely wants to be the boss. He is just the dog we wanted.
He is growing every day it seems. At his last vet visit on 8/7 he weighed in at 31 pounds but he still looks very slim. His ears go up and down constantly and his baby teeth are falling out. His coloring is beautiful - some areas are tan and others more red with some silver coming in across his back.
I hope you can open these pictures - they are from about 4 weeks ago - he's grown since.
I hope Otti is doing well with her pregnancy and I guess by now you have a new puppy in the house as well.

KOTI had his trip to the vet today. Dr. Rohr declares him a fine, healthy boy and a real "good looker". Of course we think him beautiful!! He weighs 35 1/2 pounds and is not carrying an ounce of "baby fat". Just bone and muscle and boundless energy. The "nippies" are subsiding a little now, although "love bites" still creep in to his play every now and then. Chewing, of course, is still with us and I suspect it will be for some time. He seems to get bored easily and that leads to "what can I sneak off with and chew" episodes; he obviously needs a little more active play time and a LOT more maturing time. He keeps us laughing and excited, and we are enjoying him immensely.

We hope you are all enjoying your holiday. We just wanted to take a minute to let you know how our puppy, Jack(Dexter), is doing. He is a very beautiful dog with a great temperment and we couldn't be more pleased with him. He has been easy to train and is a very people-loving dog. We are sending some pictures that we took when Jack got to experience his first snow a couple of weeks ago. He absolutely loved the snow and wanted to stay outside all day playing in the snow. Jack came into our family during a difficult time for us. We were losing our beloved family pet of twelve years and Jack certainly helped us get through that.

Just letting you know that we are really enjoying the new pup that we got from you. He is very intelligent and very calm. He is almost completely house trained. He gets along very well with our, kids, dog and cats. He is bonding well with all of us, but seems to prefer my husband over us all. We took a couple of pictures today and thought you would enjoy seeing them. We decided to name her "Ami" this way we keep her original name. (thanks for the suggestion!) She is doing wonderful. She slept all the way home last night. We introduced her to the other dogs and all she wanted to do was play. You will see in one of the pictures Ami and Atlas playing. We will have to say she is a wonderful addition. She has so much drive and energy. Just what we like.

It certainly is a lot of work but the patience pays off. Each day, Halo matures. Her drive and intelligence is unbelievable. She loves people and I believe she is adjusting to the cats. I think a couple more months and she will understand them better and each will respect the other.
