To get a pup, you would donate only $1,995 to GLBM (Golden Land Baptist Missions) for the pup and either shipping ($400) or sales tax. This is an amazing price for a pink papered import. You will get an official charitable contribution tax receipt when you make the donation directly to GLBM’s donation page.

This money will go 100% to build a building for orphans in Burma. At a 30% tax rate you would save $719 for the $2,395 ($1,995+400 shipping). So your pup will cost around $1,675 after tax, and you will be helping out the orphans! GLBM, the charity, is under a 501C3 charitable organization and so all is tax deductible.

I am a volunteer assistant director of GLBM. You can read about the charity at . Look under projects and then orphans.

The Orphanage Story

We have a crisis at one of our orphanages. Htein Win Ei, a wonderful Burmese pastor who has a degree in physics but chosen instead a modest life in a bamboo hut, has been taking in abandoned orphans off the street, giving them a home and educating them. But in the last year the numbers have started to increase. He refuses to turn any away. It is even difficult to get rice to feed them. You can see the orphanage and hear the children sing on our facebook at .

Anyway, he recently had to rent a rudimentary bamboo building that was used for chickens. They had to lay down plastic to get rid of the stench from the poultry excrement and put down bamboo mats for the kids to sleep on. This is very unhealthy for the kids. You can see the pictures above. We need about $5000 to build a proper building for the children and need to do this right away.  All the proceeds from these pups will be donated to pay for this new building for these precious children.
